Yep, and they're talking about as much as another 1/2 next week... broadcasting loud and clear that they are running scared, IMO.

The only light at the end of this dark tunnel is that this is an election year. Both sides of the isle will want to claim they were a part of some solution, so they should work together nicely for a change. Whether it will be enough remains to be seen. If it isn't, there will be some tough campaigns out there, particularly on the Right. The Left will say it's the policies of the current administration that caused it and the Right will say the Left didn't go far enough to stem the slide.

The Left will win that debate in the public's eye. So is it going to be President Hilary or Obama? That seems to be the only question left.

I think we'll see our first female president this time around.

What they say they'll do when in office doesn't matter. It's what they DO that matters.

As a energy shareholder I may benefit. If the U.S. pulls out of Iraq, the Middle East will melt down. Iran, Syria, and Turkey will split Iraq... or attempt to. Our only option will be to go back in to protect a sovereign nation that we "weakened", and we will all be paying $8 for a gallon of gas.

Energy shareholders should be somewhat protected from the decimation of the world economy.

Let's hope it doesn't play out that way.

ERHC's share of JDZ oil; 1 billion barrels. Once proven, ERHE will be $10+. All we need is time and patience.

Nuf said.
