Yeah, it's called the "pay Microsoft $750 for the 3GB version of the kernel that comes in advanced server" trick.
I hate that trick - too expensive....
Yes, you are right. I almost forgot that Standard server (not to mention Windows XP Pro or Home) don't support this option, and Windows users are effectively stuck with 2 GB limit.
Of course, don't tell that to chipguy and wbmw, because they just love building up and knocking down this straw man, over and over. Well, until they get a signal that Intel is doing 180 on this one.
