wall_rus: it is the sort of thing that it doesn't matter what we believe on the matter, it is what they believed. Certainly, the "heroes" believed in all sorts of gods. Key folks did profess Lucifer. I think it is safe to say that neither one of us believe that most of the signers of The Declaration of Independence and The Articles of Confederation and The Constitution feared Yahweh, El Shaddai and worshipped accordingly.
