Yes, I probably should have qualified that by saying "without extensive prior programming knowledge."

I had no previous programming experience, and while I'm still working on mastering it, I find EL is just a bunch of logical expressions strung together. TS does have an E-book available for download (free) covering the basics on their platform. Amazon also has "Building Winning Trading Systems with TradeStation" by Pruitt Hill available, which goes into much more detail on writing EasyLanguage, but which I found to be not well written, with awkward presentation of materials.
