What the article leaves out, is the fact that on the 2nd, we had already been attacked. This was confirmed by a Vietnamese General after the war, although he insisted that no attack took place on the 4th, which our records confirmed. The Democratic administration charged that we had been attacked on both the 2nd and 4th.
