Reloading Ammo

Boy, sure has been quiet over here!

I have some great news. A new friend of mine (and brother Elk) were talking a few weeks ago and learned we had quite a few common interests. He is an avid handgunner and reloader. He's done a lot more reloading than I have so, naturally, I encouraged him to give me all the help he was willing to provide.

A couple of days later, he called me and asked if I would be interested in getting a Lee reloading rig from him. If you remember, I was leaning toward buying a Dillon setup, but the cost placed the purchase out in the future. Anyway, I asked him what kind of reloader it was and what he wanted for it.

Now for his reply: "It's a Lee Pro 1000 progressive and I'm giving it away. I'm cleaning up my reloading bench and don't want or need it anymore. If you're not interested, I'll find someone else who wants it." (!!!!!!!!!!)

Oh boy, suddenly my favorite reloader was a Lee instead of a Dillon!

So, now I am the proud owner of a box filled with a press and various (still unidentified) parts. Also the orig. documentation that came with the unit.

I'm going to take my time going through the box and through the Lee website.

What a fine guy my new friend is! It's like Christmas in March!

Hopefully reloading on a Lee press, soon (I'll probably have to get some parts from Lee, once I've taken inventory of what I have).
