GTCB can be compared to a poker player in a large multitable no limit tournement. In these tournements players must put in money (blinds and antes) each circut around the table. The size (amount) of the blinds increases at fixed intervals. Unless they increase their chips, the blinds become a greater and great percentage of their stack and if they go long enough without winning, the blinds will consume all their money. This forces players who are 'short stacked" into a dilemma, they must take a chance on a hand which is less than optimal or fold and hope they are dealt a premium hand before they run out of money.

Right now IMHO it is way to early to panic. Hopefully management is indeed "negotiating their pants off" to get the best deal possible. Obviously this delay is causing some of the weakers players to throw their hands away.
