OH ME!! Where do I start? 1st--I am the one with the son in the hospital. I'll cut a rahter long story down to a shorter version. Our youngest son, age 30, had an infection in his right inside thigh, this thing grew like wild fire. My wife & I took him to the ER, thinking things were under control, I left to go take care of his horses, then home to clean up. In a very short order my wife called and ask me to come back to the hospital, this infection had grown very fast, had gone from the right thigh around through the butt and was now in the left thigh. They called in a surgeon and surgery was an must, right now, within 5 minutes they had my son on the way to the operating room, a life threating situation. Today my son told me he had time to make peace with God as he did not think he would make it. Let me back up in time just a tad, I was just leaving the house on the way out the door, I hesitated, turned back and shot "Tenac" a quick PM, asking for prayer, I then left for the hospital. My son was in surgery for aprox. 1 hour, 4 cuts were in the right inside thigh for infection to drain out, the left thigh had several little white spots show up, these were cut out, the four cuts were stuffed with gause and antibotics. A sample has been sent to determine exactly what kind of infection he has, thoughts are most likely "Mercer", but will take about 2 or 3 days before we know for sure, at this time the proper antibotic for whatever he has will be administered. It appears he will be in the hospital for 3 or 4 more days.
I just came home for the evening, his mother is with him tonight. Today I can see improvement as each hour passes, I truly believe the "rapid" recovery he is making is due to many folks raising him to God in prayer. He has a great family & friend support system in place, so many prayers & thoughts came from this source.
He has ask me to thank Tenac, Excel and all you good folks on the Bible Board for you Prayers. This has meant very much to him.
I thank each of you for your thoughts, prayers and concerns, it has been greatly appreciated. It is my belief that God uses the Physicans for his purposes, medicine to assist in healing,
and the power of God to pull it altogether. I do not know if I worded this just right, but I think you understand my thinking.
When in need of Prayer it is a great relief and comfort to know you have family & friends praying in your behalf.
