ETA is responsible for the attacks. The radical Arabs are in no conditions to pull something like that in a western county

i see it the other way around: it's been decades since ETA was able to mount an attack of any significance and they have never attempted anything as grandiose or coordinated as this. the explosives used in the blast are extremely common and could be from any western nations arsenal or even cooked up at home (recipes abound). we're just going have to wait and see.

imo the market was going to tank anyway, this was just a convenient peg to hang it on.
