They gave the clock as 3 GHz i.e. model 6000+ and it looked like that model's performance rather than the 3.2 GHz 6400+. Otherwise I agree with your basic premises and that it is very bad for AMD that the lowest 45nm bin is as high as 2.66 GHz which indicates better binsplits than Intel's 65nm which AMD can currently co-exist with. If Phenom does not start showing rapid improvement in terms of clockspeed AMD maybe eventually forced into seeking refuge in large die quads and tris to continue making profit which will cause their unit marketshare to collapse.
