IMO If they are a no show at the 2008 International Tool and Machine Show in Chicago again, they are not serious. I was there in 2006. Chip control and disposal was a big issue and it promises to be even bigger this year. There is no excuse for them not be there. Many companys are seriously working on the problem recognizing the pay back that Americhip aptly points out. We are putting in production tools that direct high pressure needle thin stream of coolant at the vertex of the chip and the insert. It works. However we still have coolant to deal with and chips that need to be cleaned.
