but another scenario is also bothersome though :

Comp already corrected almost 10%, the selling pressure naturally should be less.

but DJ & SPX not even corrected 5%, DJ 5% correction would be 10216 and SPX 1105 respectively. One more day like that would bring them there.

Heavens help us if DJ & SPX want to correct 7% or more, then I dont see how Comp can stand pat by itself.

One more thing that I dont know if it matters : by late mid to late March, lots of buys made in few days after 2003 March bottom will qualify for long term capital gain treatment ... would that trigger some trimming from the investors if market remains weak ?
