Peg, It depends on how you do the math... If "conservative christian" includes the religious right, culture warriors and about half of moderate evangelicals, you're at 30% of the population. They vote, and they vote republican, overwhelmingly. They're organized, and they're tough to beat. There's big, big money behind the "religious right" and "culture warrior" factions. Whether the big money is enthusiastic about the 1st US Bishop remains to be seen... But they will all rally around any R candidate who's nominated.
