GM story.

I just ordered a GM car today. Only $6,500 off list on $ 28K list to get me to buy. Salesman said it was slow month.

Incentives are up $750 for the month of March and I am hoping for another $250 to $500 after 3/15 to ensure they make sales numbers.

GM between a rock and hard place. Decreasing sales due to weak economy and rising cost of materials.

Sounds like deadly combination for manufacturers brewing.
