Still wondering if Verizon is qualifying and worrying about the internal antenna stuff. Have you heard anything on the Verizon scene? I've been stroking some furry critters and haven't checked the forums for a week or so.
I havent heard anything concrete out of Verizon. The 6225 doesnt seem very close to release....and the 3205 looks like it is aimed at PCS (no BREW mention in the manual). I'm not sure what Nokia will do if Verizon refuses to sell a handset with an internal antenna. In the end, they might have to just forgo sales with Verizon.
I dont know how the 3205 will sell, but I guarantee that the 6225 will do well.
Thus far, I have been reasonably impressed with both the Sony Ericsson and Motorola models that have been shown. The S700 from SE really seems to be getting some good responses on message boards.
Now we just need to wait and see what Nokia has in response. From a design perspective, the competition is definitely getting better.
BTW, SE has an analyst meeting tomorrow morning.
