DIC is such a large unmet need that it would be foolhardy for GTC and Leo to try to include sepsis patients without DIC in the existing program, IMO.

Perhaps sepsis without DIC can be investigated for label expansion much later if the underlying scientific rationale is deemed to be sound—but not now!
