the SEC and the DTC certainly are in part heinously corrupt - at the least, they have been co-conspirators in the institutional thievery and fraud of hundreds of billions of dollars against investors and companies thru NSS FTD's for years and years. they have even finally admitted to some of this - only because they were backed into a corner by the voracious, righteous fights of various parties who exposed them. And get a grip, the DTCC is a big stupid monster essentially owned by big brokers and banks - it's patently obvious where their interests lie. stop the nonsense, woog. (and others).
