but they are doing just fine now, but they must not get too far ahead, if they "bin high" they should only release the higher speed if they can charge even more for it then the market is currently paying.

Intel has the cash to lose money for the next three years. If they decide to do this AMD are toast.

AMD want to be a fly in the ointment, not a fierce competitor, they cannot afford this.

They should maximise every cent of return they can get from their "currently" superior R&D
