I predict Intel will hit or exceed their goal of 200k IPF units in 2004. I predict the number of ported software applications will double from over 1,000 to over 2,000. I predict that the bad press will eventually sound stale, repetitive, and silly in the face of ever growing momentum, and that reporters will get tired of predicting the death of IPF. All this in spite of Intel's IA-32e announcement.
