I have a panic situation for you. Honey Bees and strange viruses or other infections that cause hive collapse. The bees go out in the morning but never return.

There are 600,000 acres in California's Central Valley devoted to almond orchards, which supply 80% of the world's demand for the nuts.

Billions of honey bees are imported into the valley from around the world for a three-week pollination frenzy in February.

The honey from almond blossoms is bitter to the point it is not worthy of commercial use.
