did you fill out a formal request form? i asked my brokerage in a phone call last summer, if i wanted the certs could they get them for me?..i never said i wanted all of them, i just inquired if i could get them if i chose that option.. they gave the standard response that they couldnt get certs for my XXXXXX nummber of shares because there was a global lock... i have since told them (numerous times) in writing and in phone conversations (that i believe are taped by them) i dont want the certs, never formally ordered them nor did i ever mention an amount to be ordered.. i just wanted to know if they were available.... they no longer respond to my emails... but i have kept all my correspondence with them. the last phone rep i spoke to about this did verify there was no standing order to fill once they become available (if they do) ..ps - i will add this post to my file...
