Hi atgbs.
I'm really looking at the longer term impact of inflation on supply and demand at critical points in our economic history.
The $SPX is around 30 times higher than it was in 1960. Likewise my house sells for around 25-30 times it's 1960 price. Can you think of other assets with that type of history? I can certainly find reasons for stocks to "correct" here, consolidate in this range or even blow up higher. I'm not convinced it's always for what we would agree are rational reasons.
