The modern economy

Tess's daughter and soninlaw are the same. They have never seen 'cheap' prices in their lifetime so they are used to having to spend a lot for whatever they want. Whenever I mention shopping around or comparing prices or buying 'used' they look at me like I am nuts. Well, maybe I am lol. I just can't see how people nowadays can just spend spend spend with no worries? That is until one day they look at their credit card statements and say 'Wow, that's a Lot!" lol. I guess that is why no one wants to say 'Inflation' as they just figure everything costs the same as it did years ago? I don't know, I am just one of those who refuses to 'buy' into the idea of paying more than I have to.
