Do you think "random investors" have sucked up those billion shares you refer to? I don't. The MM's didn't buy all those shares just to "stock up". They have someone taking them off their hands. It may not be the company, but it's been too organized to be "random investors". Did you notice that it started with 2 million share blocks, and as the PPS fell, the size of the blocks increased, always in round numbers? 2 mil, 4 mil,6 mil, 8 mil, and even a few 9's. If I called my broker/MM and wanted him to buy up a billion shares for me, that's how I'd want it done.
