One important thing to make note of which has not been mentioned here as yet is, that with the management team ponying up for the required number of shares, one could assume that they aren't planning on leaving the company any where in the near term. Otherwise they just wouldn't spend the cash, no matter how small or large it seemingly may be.

This is good news unto itself as the first sign of a sinking ship is the employees getting out of Dodge. At this point in time I will assume that they still believe in their company.
