Not much of one, but anyway ..

drove out of my driveway
a tree pruning truck
is parked across the road
two neighbors watching
how do you feel?

sit minute or so, thinking
looked my way, but that's all
one neighbor says something to pruner
go into house, thinking
what are you thinking?

one bald neighbor
comes right out again
looks my way and waves
minute more, pruner looks my way
how are feelings now?

pruner around from back
of truck, to front door
waves, you give thumbs up
truck backs up out of your way
how do you feel now?

different people
different feelings
different thoughts
you drive off into the day
during, many mixed feelings?
