The difference is the margin. It costs BMC about 6 dollar to get the nickel out. 12 dollar is the LME price, the margin is 6 dollar per lb.
If BMC only gets 12*58%=7.0 dollar per lb, then the margin is only 1 dollar.
Again, I don't have my notebook on vacation, so I don't have the exact number Mike Sieb told me. But if you got the 58% from me before, then it should be 58%.
