the whole 'buy on the bid' thing is weird.

Often times I'll see a stock with, say, a bid of .26 and an ask of .30. I'll put in a 'Limit Buy' order in at .26. Sometimes it gets filled. Also, sometimes, I'll put my offer to buy in at a penny ABOVE the bid, and it'll get filled.
