hoticetea, to buy the PCLN $90 Put option at $1.8, you actually need $180 + commmission to buy just one contract.

228 contracts will put you at 228 x $180 = $51840... NOT $518

1 option contract means you are purchasing 100 shares of jthe underlying security.
