That sure was a constant flow. despite the grumblings we heard from other vacationers, we made the all day trek to Chichen Itza.

When we got there everyone gathered to hear the guides rap about the pyramid. I wandered a bit closer and just stared.

Truly amazing.

The guide had explained no one can climb up anymore and about how vandals painted graffiti at the top. Even so we say a 30 something woman climb up a wall at the marketplace, grinning. From that and other people we saw, its no wonder Americans are sometimes held in such low regard by other countries.
