ya, what I learned from my three year experience in trading is that when people hate a stock, that time is a "buy" time for that stock, since eventually there is a bottom for that stock and good time to catch the bottom. Conversely, when people fall in love with a stock, that time is the best time to sell and forget about that stock. This strategy works in Big Boards and also penny stocks.
