That is again such a ridiculous and absurd statement !

I strongly recommend that you review the presentation material at the recent Fall IDF. The Silverstone chip is a dramatically smaller chip, and it dissipates mW of power as opposed to 10W+ of other products.The small physical size of the chip is also critical, for it designed to go into mobile handheld devices.There is no way that the reject Penryn chips can be sold as Silverstone.

Intel could sell low scrap Penryns for el cheapo Desktops and Laptops, but as I said earlier there is no evidence of that.
