it could cut both ways. if a larger player wanted to buy all the pain right now the sluggish holiday trading could provide them with an opportunity to clean out a lot of weak hands.
if someone wanting to buy some size decides to wait until a busier day they'll be competing with a lot more bulls.
given the circumstances, we could see an EOD rally imo. especially if anyone on the sidelines thinks we might get a monday PR.
