MD 20/20 (or Mad Dog) is produced by Mogen David wineries. MD 20/20 was originally created by Mohawk Liquor in Allen Park, Michigan.
The "MD" stands for "Mogen David," the name of the company based in Westfield, New York which makes it; the company is named after the Star of David, which is spoken as "Magen David" in the Hebrew language.
