Although I have the latest version of Adobe Reader (8.1.1), I cannot open the pdf file you posted without downloading a plug-in, which I am reluctant to do because it might have a virus.

Does anyone here understand why an article from Nature requires a plug-in even if a user has the latest and greatest version of Adobe Reader? T.i.a. Dew
