Alertmeipp - my main point wasn't the lottery ticket / luck aspect of it, it was that a $20k purchase by someone with a sizable portfolio (and I have no idea whether Coleman has one or not - but based on his age and employment history I'd guess he has done very well) is not nearly as significant as a small investor making a $20k investment.
If his wealth is 20x mine, then his investment of $20k is equivalent to me investing $1k.
IMO people make way too much of insider purchases, but all in all I agree it's a good sign and certainly better than no insider purchase.
