Thanks, Praveen, for that reference. Bear in mind that Radiesse competes against Restylane and Juvederm; it does not compete against Botox or any other botulinum-toxin product.
Botox is complementary to the dermal fillers because it is used mainly on the upper face while the fillers are used mainly on the lower face. AGN considers Juvederm a “strategic” product because it allows the Botox reps to cross-sell to the derms and plastic surgeons.
Relative to Restylane, which is far and away the market leader among dermal fillers, Radiesse may have a longer learning curve for the injector. Perhaps this accounts for some of the less than stellar reviews you have seen.
In any event, I need to do more DD on BFRM before I would consider buying shares. Regards, Dew
