Barron's forget to say that MSFT has 10 B shares outstanding, so generating $1/share in cash per year for a $30 stock is really not such a big find. What really counts is the internal rate of returns of 11% on assets and 14% on equity. Quite "average" and actually lower than for instance, INTC.
