It would be quite a different world, if one only made decisions on axioms, never on correlations.

Regardless, I think this originally started after I pointed out that Schering released EVR, not RVR data, when RVR has more correlation than EVR with SVR.

If you are not interested in either RVR or EVR, than my point has no relevance to you. Many hepatologists, patient and investors are, however. And Schering though took the time and energy to report EVR, which is generally seen as inferior to RVR. And my point was that their choice spoke to the likely value of their RVR data.
