It seems to me that AT would be a lot less risky in terms of major bleeds when compared to thrombolytics given(or not) in AMI and stroke. As I understand it many potential candidates are not given thrombolytics due to perceived bleeding risks (recent surgery, advaned age, GI problems, etc). I agree, this could be a huge indication if it pans out. A much greater population than sepsis with DIC.
