Jerry, >>> Stoll should have something new tomorrow-preferably ----concretely---- expecting a major transaction by mid-2008 ( in writing and as part of the presentation) <<<

Unfortunately, I think we've already heard just about all there is to say for now. Dr. Stoll laid out his battle plan pretty clearly last week, so now they need to excecute the plan and hope it works. The 2008 clinical progress has to proceed flawlessly, and there can be no significant timeline slippage.

There are a few wildcards out there, though none of which can be counted on, things like the level of Schering's interest in Ampakines, the patent related 'event' in January, etc. Other than that, Cortex's 2008 clinical progress will determine whether the company sinks or swims. That is if one accepts Stoll's premise -- that proof of concept in RD and AD PET/MRI, plus tox progress with backups and the high impact, will be enough to garner good partnering/M+A interest in H2-08. Or if not, that the clinical progress will get the pps high enough to do a financing that won't be flat out terrible.

That's about as far as the company's horizon extends at the moment - a partnership/M+A in a year, or a financing in a year. So for longs it's basically hunker down and hope no more land mines go off.
