-- in edit, a pretty good recovery from the early lows, but the question is whether or not they can hold it. The strength in the $USD coupled with the utter pounding of the yellow stuff is almost always a precursor to (and a result of) a massive shot of intervention, so my guess is that they will not waste such an effort and will do what it takes to hold the markets up the rest of the day.
