I'm thinking I should start an old timers thread so we can hang around our own clubhouse and swap lies.

Some possible criteria:

++ you were ever required to buy a slide rule for a class
++ you ever programmed on punch cards
or, for the less technical among us
++ you studied the Cuban revolution in current events class
++ you voted in the Nixon-Kennedy election

Any posts by anyone not formally qualified as an old timer would be deleted. That includes you, Matt!

In addition to swapping tall tales of the old days, we could do old timer jokes the way what's-his-face (call it a senior moment) does redneck jokes.
