mid_swe has speculated on Yahoo that the new salt forms of CA4P may be related to iontophoresis. It sounds plausible; iontophoresis can’t work unless a threshold of net electrical charge is exceeded in the therapeutic compound. The new salt forms mentioned in OXGN’s Jan 6 PR (#msg-2061253) may have the effect of increasing the net charge compared to the regular CA4P formulation.
