I note that while most of the numbers are arbitrary, over 90% is made up by one number that is extremely arbitrary. However since we are speaking of an expanse of time encompassing the entire history of mankind here, I will not quibble, but will simply note that (from memory) the total is less than the number of Russians lost during WWII. I would rather focus on the Love and the Grace of God, as He offers each of us eternal life through His Son, Jesus as a free gift.
