I owned TLCV during the big-growth period for LASIK and did pretty well. But they have made some acquisitions and diversifications and are a different company now.

More important, perhaps, I’m not convinced that LASIK will ever again experience the kind of growth it saw in the late 90s. The nice uptrend in procedure volumes recently could be just “catch up” business after the dearth of procedures during the recent recession.
