I keep hearing about a new generation of anti-aircraft missle that is very light weight has a much longer range and faster than any before it and supposedly can chase down some of our most sophisticated aircraft. Supposedly they are released at high altitude in groups that chase down a single plane. So far I have not found any serious news source to cover this. However the rumours I keep hearing are from Airforce and Ex Airforce people I know. If there is anything to this the short range EMP technology would be something developing hand in hand with this.

Do you know if there is anything to any of this?
