If as has been mentioned, Xechem is having difficulties with quality control and considering that they have supposedly purchased more efficient and modern equipment than what Dr. Pandey was planning on using for production.......... if NADAC were to pull Xechem's license to produce Nicosan, what do you think the chances are of a company like Neimuth to be able to do as well or better?
The Nigerians had this Nicosan idea for years and were never able to make it into a viable drug on their own. How long do you reckon considering the level of manufacturing sophistication that exists there today would it take a Nigerian pharmaceutical company to produce adequate supplies of Nicosan?
My guess is that the government would do well not to jump ship in light of how far this ship has already traveled. The chances of Nicosan being a success are probably better sticking with Xechem than awarding the contract to a domestic producer.
