deep down's contracts are on projects that are funded years in advance. i'm told the only way offshore E&P becomes too expensive is if crude oil falls below $40 for an extended period of time. unlike the integrated players, oil services stocks, and especially those in the offshore market, are not tied to day to day fluctuations in crude pricing.
