You know what guys, I'm done with all this stuff. I do this as a way of talking about ideas and bouncing this stuff off each other. It's a hobby for me, nothing else. It makes me no money to sit here and constantly be on top of every little detail to make everyone happy. I make a living trading. It's what I do and it's what I've done for the past 8 years now or so. I began trading with around $4k in 1997 and am just shy of a millionaire and it's all in cash - not home equity like most. I did it through trading. So, I think I know what I'm doing. Not every trade is a winner. But the winners far outweigh the losers and that's what I've tried to do here with you guys. It's extremely difficult to pick constant winners with long term trades. I make my money very quickly and that makes it impossible to constantly be posting here. Hell, you gotta see my Schedule D's every year. Last year I had over 3400 trades and each and every one has to be listed.
I know some think they are kings like the cuke cult members that follow AAPL. They buy it at $50 and see it at $180 for shy of a triple and think they're kings and all things else suck. Oh yeah? My little $10k account that's only up about 3% now for the what? 4 weeks or so is actually an extension of the trading I've been doing with the system that generates the trades that's up over 840% for the last 17 months. Kinda makes AAPL's big 300% gain pale in comparison. That's why I started it on this board to the members here because I know in 12 months, regardless of what happens with the market, that account is going to be a monster. It has to! Why? Because of the reasons for why the stocks are bought in the first place!
But that aside, everytime I make mention of anything that then goes south, all I get is a bunch of shit from the Yahoo's of the world - pun indended - and it just ain't worth it anymore to waste my time. I gain nothing from doing this.
So you guys start your own board or use the MRVL board to keep up with each other. I'll post every now and then. But I'm not going to be in charge anymore because the responsibility isn't worth the annoyance.
Those that I email with I'll keep in touch. I'll keep you guys in the loop with the $10k account trades I do.
